Mission
Sakhi for South Asian Women is a community-based organization in the New York metropolitan area committed to ending violence against women of South Asian origin.

Serving South Asians
Programs and services are designed for South Asian community members only.

Additional Information
Programs and services are designed to meet overall needs, including health-related information and/or services.

Sakhi offers a range of support services for survivors of domestic violence. The Women's Health Initiative (WHI) responds to individual survivors of Domestic Violence by working with them to identify their specific health needs; assists women in finding health care or doctors and accessing emergency healthcare services; WHI also conducts classes and workshops around women's health, HIV and reproductive health.
