As an Indian woman who has heart disease in my family history, I realize how important it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I achieve this by eating the right foods and exercising daily. My daily exercise routine includes an hour of yoga combined with running/speed walking. I’ve cut down the use of oils in my cooking and try to eat fat-free as often as I can. I think it’s very important to serve as a role model for my children and husband and take a proactive approach to preserving a healthy, balanced life.
