A Big Mystery
Health

Roshan, 72, NY [Female]

I was married at the age of 17. My husband was wonderful, loving, and caring. Sex was not a topic that my husband and I talked about in detail, nor did anyone ever discuss what I should know about sex and having children. We did decide to have kids 2 and half years apart, as recommended in my religion. Looking back, I do wish I knew more early on. Many things about sex and having children remained a mystery, long after I had 5 kids. I also didn’t know what questions to ask. I do believe you should only have sex when you get married. That much I know. That is our religion. But it shouldn’t be a mystery either when you do get married.
